APPLE
Harold Edgerton’s famous high speed picture of a bullet going through an apple. Taken in 1964, it became a very famous image , not least because it was such an unusual photo based on a great achievement in high speed photography. Edgerton, professor at MIT, is also inventor of the strobe flash and a pioneer of stop-action photography. He collaborated with Jacques-Yves Cousteau to experiment photographing some of the deepest seabed’s in the world.
It is an iconiuc photo to me because the image of an apple being hit by a bullet at slow motion is very interesting and conveys a felling a power as the bullet goes thought the apple. It has been reproduced many times and is a pop culture phenomenon.
Girl from national Geographic
This famous Steve McCurry photograph of a young Afghan girl that adorned the cover of National Geographic magazine and went on to become one of the most famous faces in the world in now for sale at NYT store. Steve captured this memorable photo of green-eyed Afghan girl at some refugee camp in Pakistan.
This picture is iconic because after it was relased people started to ask the photographer how to send aid to her because the picture was so startling.
DarthVader
Darth Vader from StarWars
Photographer: Undefined
This is an iconic image because this is one of the main characters from the revolutionary movie star wars.It is revolutionary because to this day, a decade after the release of the movie, it still remains popular.
This is iconic to me because whenever I see this picture, I instantly know that that person is Darth Vader. Also that he is the most common character from StarWars.
He is depicted as evil in many shows. He has spurred many remakes such as space balls and that’s why Darth Vader is Iconic.
Media Arts

This photograph is of the influential Cuba leader, Che Guevara, which was token by Alberto Korda.in Havana, Cuba, at a memorial service for victims of the La Coubre explosion and by the end of the 1960s turned the charismatic and controversial leader into a cultural icon.[1] Korda has said that at the moment he shot the picture, he was drawn to Guevara's facial expression, which showed "absolute implacability"[2] as well as anger and pain.[3] Years later, Korda would say that the photo showed Che's firm and stoic character.[4] Guevara was 31 at the time the photo was taken.
Emphasizing the image's ubiquitous nature and wide appeal, the Maryland Institute College of Art called the picture a symbol of the 20th century and the world's most famous photo.[5] Versions of it have been painted, printed, digitized, embroidered, tattooed, silk-screened, sculpted or sketched on nearly every surface imaginable, leading the Victoria and Albert Museum to say that the photo has been reproduced more than any other image in photography.
This image of Ernesto Ernesto "Che" Guevara was taken by Alberto Korda on March 5, 1960 it is an iconic image because this image show a revolutionary leader of Cuba. This picture has been seen many times by the public and time magazine says as one of the most important images to date. It is a very powerful photograph that shows many extreme emotions, such as anger or pride. The photo was shown many time and has become a pop icon.
I think the this picture of che Guevara is an iconic photo because of the strong expression on his face that stands him out from the crowd. Also the pictue is remade many timrd

I first started this picture by add the canoe picture from my camera and into the Photoshop. Then i copied the paper picture and added text in Rock well bold. I then made a header, pine green, and add sub titles grey and then added text using the text tools. I added the ribbon across the page and used dilate to add some depth.
Saturday, November 14, 2009
I made this picture by first making the header using the rectangular tool and the smaller ones using the rounded rectangular tool and then added text to them using the text tool. After that i place the background picture into the back layer. I cut the picture of the car, snowboard using the magic wand and the magnetic lasso for any mistakes. After that a remade the rectangle paper shape and the finally added text.
About Me

The Blog page was first made with a rectagle tool with another rectagle inscribed. Then i added a graident from one corner to other and used the healing brush to make it dabby. After that i added Text in Rockwell extra bold. After i finished the title i added three rounded rectangular shapes with text using the rounded rectangle tool and the text tool.
Using the piece of paper, i cut it out using the magic wand tool. I do the same with the space ship. The back ground was cut of the fire fox logo. Then i finally added text to the paper

I Made this picture by first magic wanding the logo of a company, expanded it an placed it as the background. I then use the rectangle tool and changed the colour to grey and placed it behind the rainbow. After using the rounded rectangular tool thrice, i then used the Horizontal type tool to add text to the header. I then used the rectangular tool to make a yellow sheet, tilted it, and made the sides bumpy using the eraser tool. I then added lines so it looked like paper. I added text in Rockwell and added a pencil, made it more bright then used the magnetic lasso to cut it out.

here's a joke for you; whats the difference between a pidgion and a stock broker? The bird can still make a deposit! Ba-Zam! made that for the CNN conference in New York. the stock market' a freakin rollacoaster these days. like ship in the eye of a hurricane. so a man goes up to you and says" What do hurricanes and steriods have in common? They both make Jamaicans run!" Speaking of running, thats what all the guys in the stock business are doing, with all this falling and structural crap and as grampa once said "it's a bumpy ride"
